Luka Koper, Aviation fuel storage tanks

The project to build jet fuel storage tanks in the Port of Koper represented a demanding infrastructure investment in the port area with high technical, safety and environmental standards. On the existing embankment, we carried out the construction of three new JET fuel storage tanks intended for the supply of aviation traffic, together with all the associated infrastructure. The work included terrain preparation, embankment reinforcement and foundation construction in demanding geotechnical conditions. Special attention was paid to ensuring the stability of the facilities, protection against the effects of the marine environment and meeting all safety requirements for handling flammable liquids. In addition to the tanks, we also built a new tanker transfer point, which enables safe, efficient and uninterrupted fuel transfer. The successful implementation of the project contributed to increasing storage capacities, improving logistics processes and long-term reliability of jet fuel supply. The project represents an important reference in the field of industrial and marine construction, where high professionalism, precision and experience with demanding infrastructure facilities are required.
