The construction of the Logatec sanitary sewerage system began in 2013. The project was finished in 2015. As part of this project, our company constructed the vacuum sewerage system in Martinj hrib and the ceramic sewerage system in the settlements of Gorenji Logatec and Kalce. The scale of the project was vast because over 15 km of sewers had to be built in very hard rock, in some parts reaching even category 7 hardness. The construction was also demanding because the entire sewerage system was being built in a densely populated area. We built a new 45 m long and 11 m wide bridge over the Rižana River next to the existing railway bridge. The foundation of the bridge consists of four posts placed on deep foundations with 30 m long steel piles. The construction of the bridge is designed partly as a continual reinforced concrete slab under the railway track and partly as a shallow plate under the roadway. Together with our partners, we built around 4,000 m of sewers along with a water treatment plant and the corresponding structures on the Podgrad sewerage network. We also carried out the necessary plumbing and electrical installations. A total of 1,200 m of the main line ran through the town's main road.
